End of day processing

For Amount Keying, the units of work and keyed transactions are associated with batches that arrived on a particular business day. When a business day ends, its batches are removed from the system.

A foreign key relationship is used to associate the batches held in the FTM database with the records in the REPAIR_UOW and REPAIR_INVALID database tables. The foreign key relationship is defined so that when a batch is removed during end of day processing, all records associated with Amount Keying are removed from the REPAIR_UOW and REPAIR_INVALID tables.

Note: Amount Keying uses the same database tables as Payment Repair. Only the Amount Keying information in these tables is affected during end of day processing for Amount Keying.
