Monitoring
You can monitor the MSIF transfer services by registering to
receive the event messages that they issue. Normally, the MSIF
transfer services issue an event message only when an event such as a
processing error occurs. However, you can specify that the MSIF transfer service is also to issue an
event message when:
- It executes a processing step for a scenario or a command
- It changes the state or condition of a scenario
You can issue a list command to the MSIF command service to display the transfer state and other information about a particular message or file transfer, unless that information was removed from the database as described in Housekeeping. The response to such a command looks like this:
