In FTM SWIFT, error messages are used to provide:

• Information about events that occur during FTM SWIFT customization
• Information about events involving services and other subcomponents
• Responses to commands entered by a user via the FTM SWIFT command-line interface components
• Information and responses to actions performed by a user in the following facilities:
  • Administration and Operation (AO)
  • Message Entry and Repair (MER)
  • Relationship Management Application (RMA)
