No. IBM Library Support for Hibernate focuses on security updates for supported Hibernate versions. It does not include new features, feature enhancements, or functional changes.
- What type of support is excluded?

Support excludes new features, feature enhancements, functional changes, bug fixes, or non-critical security vulnerability fixes.
It also excludes fixes outside the scope of Hibernate, namely: Hibernate artifacts that are not published as part of this offering (for example, connection providers), and libraries that Hibernate only integrates with (for example, JDBC drivers, Micrometer, Ehcache).
- Do I need to modify my application code?

No. IBM Library Support for Hibernate provides drop-in replacement artifacts that are intended to replace the existing Hibernate libraries without requiring application code changes.
- Which Java runtimes and platforms are supported?

Binaries provided as part of IBM Library Support for Hibernate are expected to be compatible with the same runtime environments as the last corresponding upstream/community version.
