Status pane

The pane has storage system’s name as title, and IP address and Model displayed as the subheader.

The pane has a single Back button that is displayed in grey color. The button is always enabled and the button closes the pane when clicked.

In Status pane, alerts checkbox and alerts are not displayed in the timeline.

After the subheader, the pane displays the table of different counts that are shown in an expandable section. By default, the section is collapsed, and only shows counts of errors, warnings, and unknown health status. Expanding the section displays the distribution of the errors, warnings, and so on, among different sections, such as Volumes, Pools, Managed Disks, IP ports, Host connections.

After this section, there are 3 checkbox Health, Alerts, and Notifications. By default, these checkboxes are selected based on which icon was clicked in the data grid table to open the status pane. For example, if Health icon is clicked to open the status pane, then the first checkbox Health is selected, and other two checkboxes are not selected. You can also manually select the checkbox to display the content of that section.

After the checkbox row, a timeline section is displayed with Health errors, Alerts, and Notification events sorted chronologically. The visibility of these timeline events depends on which checkbox was selected.

All the events have timestamp displayed as time and date in the first row. The timeline event also displays an icon corresponding to the severity and type of the event. All the text content is indented toward right with a left vertical bar representing the timeline view.

After the timestamp row, a header row displays the title of the error, alert, or notification. After the header row, content rows are displayed in text describing the error, alert, or notification content.

Alerts pane

All the alert events have a right arrow that appears as a link, clicking which opens the alert details in the pane. In this pane, Remove and Acknowledge is displayed at the bottom. Remove removes the alert, whereas clicking Acknowledge acknowledges the event. After removing or acknowledging the alert, the right pane closes, and the alert count is updated in the data table grid and tabular page.

The alerts pane has a title of the alert and other details, such as Hardware Name, Alert Description, Alert Details Grid, Corrective Action, etc. It has Export option with 3 sub- menu for exporting the data as CSV, PDF, or HTML.

Notifications pane

Notification pane also has a right arrow link that opens a notification view in the right pane. The notification has only one button for acknowledging the notification. The contents of the notifications view are similar to the alerts view.
