Quick filters panel

Each of these sections has some filters, each shown as an icon and count. It enables you to filter the records based on system health conditions and data collection status quickly.

If you select the tags from both the sections, then only the records that are common between the filtered data sets of both the sections are displayed.
  • System health: System health displays icons, such as error, warning, unknown, normal with count. The counts represent the number of records in the data table that have system health in that particular state. By clicking any of these icons, you can filter the table data and see the records that have health in that particular state.

The counts are displayed in blue and are clickable. If the count is 0 (when there is no storage systems in error state), the counts are displayed in black and is not clickable or filterable. If you select multiple tags under this section, then all the records that match any of these selected system health status are displayed.

  • Data collection: Data collection displays icons, such as running, failed, device unreachable/invalid credentials, and so on with count. The counts represent the number of records in the data table that have data collection in that particular state. By clicking any of these icons, you can filter the table data and see the records that have data collection in that particular state.

The counts are displayed in blue and are clickable. If the count is 0 (when there are no storage systems in failed state), the counts are displayed in black and cannot be clicked or filtered. Once filtered, the filter conditions appear as text-based tags in the filter tags bar. The filter tag bar is placed between the table toolbar and the table grid. The tags have cancel/close button next to the text, and on clicking them the filter condition gets removed, and also the tag is removed from the tag bar. If you select multiple tags under this section, then all the records that match any of these selected data collection status are displayed.

  • Show performance: The Show performance toggle enables or disables the rendering of the I/O Rate Read and I/O Rate Write columns. It minimizes the compute and load time of the performance metrics when it is not immediately required.
  • Marked for maintenance: Storage systems that are under maintenance or scheduled for maintenance. Alerts are suppressed for systems that are undergoing maintenance. However, alerts are still triggered for the systems that are scheduled for maintenance but the maintenance is not yet started. Maintenance columns like Maintenance start time, Maintenance end time, and Maintenance status are not visible by default. Select these columns from the column chooser to view the maintenance details.
Note: If the count is zero in the System Health and Data collection filter panel, the counts are hidden and not displayed or clickable.
