Integrating IBM Storage Insights with Slack

When IBM Storage Insights is integrated with Slack and a ransomware alert is triggered in IBM Storage Insights, an alert message is sent to a dedicated Slack channel.

Integration Process:

The integration process is two step procedure. Refer to the following steps in the sequential order.

1. Create a Slack application and a private Slack channel: Begin the integration process by creating a Slack application and a private Slack channel. For more information, see Creating a Slack application and a private Slack channel.
2. Configure a webhook for Slack in IBM Storage Insights: Proceed for configuring a webhook for Slack within your IBM Storage Insights instance.
