Editing the name of Storage as a Service

Customize the names of your Storage as a Service environment to match the conventions of your organization or so you can more easily identify and sort them. You must have the Administrator role to edit the name of an environment.

Before you begin

Ensure that the IBM® Technical Account Manager (TAM) set up your STaaS environments and you have the Administrator role in IBM Storage Insights Pro.

Procedure

  1. From the Dashboards menu, click Storage as a Service. A list of your STaaS environments is displayed.
  2. Choose one of the following options:

    A list of your STaaS environments is displayed.
    1. Right-click the environment that you want to update and click Edit Environment Name.
    The STaaS dashboard for your environment is displayed.
    1. Double-click the environment that you want to update.
    2. From the Actions menu, click Edit Environment Name.
  3. Enter the name of the environment and click Apply.
