Upgrading Watson Knowledge Catalog

Upgrading the Watson Knowledge Catalog service on IBM® Cloud Pak for Data requires that a cluster administrator must first upgrade the cluster environment for the service, and then a project administrator can upgrade the service on IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

If you have existing Hive Kerberos connections for automated discovery or quick scan that you want to continue to use after the upgrade, a project administrator must complete several steps before upgrading the Watson Knowledge Catalog service.
