Db2 for z/OS Connector on Cloud Pak for Data

With the IBM® Db2 for z/OS Connector service, you can bring the power of your data in Db2 for z/OS to the cloud. From Cloud Pak for Data, you can create your own database in Db2 for z/OS, so you can work with your data in a sandbox environment where you own and can change the database objects, without changing the master data.

You can then bring the data into projects for use in analytics. Because the new  database is created in Db2 for z/OS, the data remains protected by the governance  polices of that platform.
