Service statuses (Streams)
Use the status to determine the state of a provisioning or provisioned IBM Streams service.
Service statuses
The service statuses fall into three categories:
- Successful
- The object is installed and running as expected.
- In progress
- The service provisioning is in progress.
- Error
- The service provisioning failed or the Streams instance is not running as expected. For more information, see The service instance provisioning fails (Streams).
Category | Successful | In progress | Error | Notes |

The actions that have underlying Helm actions (for example, installing or
provisioning) can take 10 - 60 minutes, depending on your environment. Use the service status to
determine the progress of the Helm
action and whether there are any problems. Note: The Helm status is displayed during an action or if
the action fails.
