The CICS catalog example application is a working COBOL application that is designed to illustrate best practice when connecting CICS applications to external clients and servers using Web services for CICS, and using Web service modules generated by Enterprise Service Tools.
Building the CatalogSample service flow project (Deprecated)
The CatalogSample project demonstrates how to develop a COBOL-based web service that can be invoked across an internet or intranet. Note that the service flow project tools are deprecated in Developer for z/OS V14.2.3.
Recording a flow in a service flow project (Deprecated)
This tutorial creates a service flow from a flow recording of the CICS account inquiry example program. You can deploy the runtime code that is generated by this tutorial to the CICS Service Flow Runtime environment. Note that the service flow project tools are deprecated in Developer for z/OS V14.2.3.
