Perform the following steps from Deploying OpenShift sandboxed containers on IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE to install OpenShift sandboxed containers 1.12 in your cluster:

  • Modifying the number of peer pod VMs per node
  • Creating a custom peer pod VM image
  • Creating the peer pods secret
  • Creating the peer pods config map
  • Creating the peer pod VM image config map
    • When you create the libvirt-podvm-image-cm.yaml file, make sure to set the values of the following variables as specified below:
      • SE_BOOT: "true"
      • DOWNLOAD_SOURCES: "no"
