Version 1.2.0 of the Spyre Operator contains new feature changes and a few CVE fixes.

Features

The following features have been added in this release:

  • Health Checker: Introduced a Spyre Health Checker to monitor the status of Spyre cards and update the SpyreNodeState with the current health information.
  • Automatic Node Labeler: Introduced an automatic label the node feature on which spyre cards are present.

Resolved issues

The Go version has been upgraded to 1.24.13 across all components. The code has been rebuilt with updated libraries which resolved the following CVEs:

  • CVE-2025-61726 (High) in Spyre Operator, Spyre Scheduler, Spyre Device Plugin, Spyre Webhook Validator
  • CVE-2025-68121 (Critical) in Spyre Webhook Validator
  • CVE-2025-15467 (High) in Spyre Device Plugin Init, Spyre Scheduler
  • CVE-2025-68973 (High) in Spyre Device Plugin Init
  • CVE-2026-24051 (High) in Spyre Scheduler
