Some validations steps can be run to ensure that the installation of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is successful.

The following tasks are a good routine to follow after the installation of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform:

  • Confirm that all the cluster components are online checking the cluster operators
  • Check the cluster version

Troubleshooting

If something went wrong during the installation, the following actions can be taken:

  • Check the status of the pods in all namespaces
  • Check the logs for a pod that is listed in the output of the previous command and is not running
  • Gather debug information
