This section briefly discusses development best practices.

For completeness, the full architecture of an elaborate RHOCP pipeline is depicted in the image. Most notable is the clear split between development, test, and production environments. Between each of the environments quality gates need to be in place. The external and internal RHOCP image registry is the binding link between the different environments.

Integration with existing CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment is a major focus of future releases of RHOCP.
