License Management
Txture requires three license files in the directory
certs in the [ txture_home] to start:
- the public key (
*.crt) of your Txture instance - the private key (
*.pem) of your txture instance - the public key of the Txture root certificate
(
txture.crt)
The file names of the public and private key can be anything,
but must match. Information about your license can be found in the
(Main Menu / Username /
About) dialog.
Licenses are typically valid for one year and need to be
replaced once a year which requires a server restart. The license
files hold information about the features activated for this Txture
instance and a expiration date of the license. You will receive new
licence certificate files with updated validity when the license is
about to expire or additional features are unlocked. If your
license expired and you need to replace it, simply remove the
public and private key and replace them by the new files. Make sure
that txture.crt remains in place.
