The collectHardwareInventory command collects the hardware inventory from IBM® PowerKVM system in a compressed file format.

collectHardwareInventory
Description
The collectHardwareInventory command collects the hardware inventory and generates a compressed file of the collection and saves at /tmp. The compressed file esaHWColl-yyyymmddhhmmss.zip contains the lsvpd.out and free.out files. The lsvpd.out file contains the list of vital product data of the hardware and firmware. The free.out file contains the memory usage information (such as Total memory, Available memory, Free memory, Swap memory).
Usage
To view the hardware inventory collection, follow these steps:- Log in to the IBM PowerKVM system.
- In command line, go to /opt/ibm/seprovider/bin.
- Run the command collectHardwareInventory.
