Installing Linux on PowerVM LPAR on an unmanaged eBMC system
You can install Linux® on PowerVM® logical partition (LPAR) by using the Serial over LAN (SoL) console on the enterprise baseboard management controller (eBMC).
Before you begin
You must complete the following prerequisite on the eBMC.
- Verify that you can connect to the eBMC. For more information, see Connecting your server to a PC or notebook.
