Stopping the z/OS Connect Designer

Stopping the z/OS Connect Designer with either Red Hat® CodeReady Workspaces or Docker Compose.

Learn how to stop the z/OS Connect Designer container.

Procedure

  1. If using Docker to start z/OS Connect Designer, enter the following command in the same workstation window where you instantiated your container.
    docker compose down
    This command stops the running container, and removes any containers and networks that were created. If the command is successful, the following message is displayed (or something similar depending on your Docker Desktop version):
    Stopping zcworkspace_zosConnect_1 ... done
    Removing zcworkspace_zosConnect_1 ... done
    Removing network zcworkspace_default
  2. If using Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces either:
    1. Stop the workspace.

      Once the workspace has been stopped, you cannot access the z/OS Connect Designer.

    2. Close the browser window hosting the Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces.
      This stops the workspace and the z/OS Connect Designer.

Results

The z/OS Connect Designer is stopped.
