Preparing the sample IMS application

In this tutorial, the IMS Phonebook sample application is used as the target IMS application program to map the example IMS OpenAPI definition. This sample application needs to be installed and configured in your target IMS region.

This scenario shows you how to prepare the IMS Phonebook sample application and test that it is configured and working correctly. In later parts of this tutorial, you use z/OS® Connect Designer to send requests to this application.

The following tasks describe how to prepare the sample IMS application.
