If you use an infinite loop and the number of cached responses
in a test increases exponentially, you can set a limit to cache for
a user group in the schedule.
When the cache limit is reached, the least-recently accessed
cached entry is released to accommodate a new entry. Also, when a
test follows another test in the schedule, you can clear the cache
before a test starts.
-
To clear the cache before a test starts, from the Test
Navigator, open a test.
-
Click the HTTP Options tab and select
the Clear page cache when the test starts check
box.
-
To set a limit to the number of cache entries, in the Test
Navigator, navigate to a schedule and double-click it to open it.
-
Click the user group for which you want set the cache limit.
-
Click the Options tab and then click Edit
Options.
-
Select the Set cache size limit check
box and, in the Maximum cache size field, type
a numeric value.
This value indicates the number of entries
allowed for a user.
-
Click OK and save the schedule.
