Samples overview
The product offers samples that run on a managed Liberty server in a WebSphere® Application Server Network Deployment 9.0.5 cell.
Samples limitations
The samples are for demonstration purposes only. The code that is provided is not intended to run in a secure production environment.
Deploying the samples to a managed Liberty server
You can use wsadmin scripting or the administrative console to deploy the samples on a managed
Liberty server.

Available samples
Access the following sample applications in Deploy apps to a Managed Liberty Server. As part of a hands-on lab, you can deploy the samples to a managed Liberty server or as of 9.0.5.24, a managed Liberty cluster. You can also download the samples and run them beyond the lab for demonstration purposes.
- Spring PetClinic
- This variant of the Spring PetClinic sample uses Jakarta EE 10 features, including servlets, bean validation, and optionally persistence. The sample uses Thymeleaf templates for Spring Framework to drive webpages. You can optionally configure the sample to use Jakarta Server Pages at build time.
- ModResorts
- This variant of the ModResorts sample demonstrates how Jakarta EE 10 applications can be deployed to a managed Liberty server. The sample uses Jakarta EE 10 features, especially Jakarta Servlet. The sample uses JavaScript to drive webpages for various weather forecasts to be displayed.
