Configuring online product repositories for Modernized Runtime Extension for Java

You can access and configure remote web-based repositories that contain the files to install Modernized Runtime Extension for Java (MoRE). Use the web-based repositories to access the most recent installation files.

You can either add the MoRE repository or the MoRE composite repository to IBM® Installation Manager.
  • The MoRE repository, which contains only MoRE, is https://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/com.ibm.websphere.MORE.v10
  • The MoRE composite repository, which contains all offerings that are needed to install MoRE, is https://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/V9WASMORE

Configure the online product repository for MoRE

To configure the web-based repositories for MoRE, complete the following steps.

  1. In Installation Manager, click File > Preferences.
  2. In the Preferences dialog, click Repositories.
  3. Click Add Repositories.
  4. In the Add Repositories dialog, enter the MoRE repository path into the Repository field. Then click OK.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click OK.

What to do next

After the MoRE repository is added to Installation Manager, stop any WebSphere processes that are running on the server.
