Supported WebSphere Liberty features

MoRE supports a subset of WebSphere Liberty features. Limitations might apply to specific features.

MoRE supports the following WebSphere Liberty features. However, support for a specific feature might be incompletely implemented. For more information, see the topic on known issues and limitations.

Jakarta EE 10 Web Profile

The following table lists Jakarta EE 10 Web Profile features for MoRE, provides a link to the feature details, and gives a description of each feature.

`appSecurity-5.0`	Enables support for securing the server runtime environment and applications by using Jakarta Security 3.0.
`beanValidation-3.0`	Provides an annotation-based model for validating JavaBeans for applications that use the Jakarta Bean Valuation 3.0 specification.
`cdi-4.0`	Supports integrating Jakarta EE components of different types for applications that use the Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection 4.0 specification.
`enterpriseBeans-4.0` The feature includes the following subfeatures: `enterpriseBeansLite-4.0` `enterpriseBeansHome-4.0` `enterpriseBeansRemote-4.0`	Enables support for Enterprise Beans that are written to the Jakarta Enterprise Beans 4.0 specification. The enterpriseBeansLite-4.0 feature support for Jakarta Enterprise Beans that are written to the Enterprise Beans Lite subset of the Jakarta Enterprise Beans 4.0 specification. The enterpriseBeansHome-4.0 feature enables the use of home interfaces in Jakarta Enterprise Beans. The enterpriseBeansRemote-4.0 feature enables the use of remote interfaces in Jakarta Enterprise Beans.
expressionLanguage-5.0	Enables support for the Jakarta Expression Language 5.0.
`faces-4.0`	Enables support for web applications that use the Jakarta Faces 4.0 framework, which simplifies the construction of user interfaces.
`jsonb-3.0`	Provides a standard for converting between Java objects and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
`jsonp-2.1`	Provides a standardized method for constructing and manipulating data to be rendered in JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
`managedBeans-2.0`	Enables support for the Managed Beans 2.0 specification, which provides a common foundation for different Jakarta EE components types that a container manages.
pages-3.1	Enables support for applications that are written to the Jakarta Server Pages 3.1 specification.
persistence-3.1	Enables support for applications that use application-managed and container-managed persistence, which includes Jakarta Persistence 3.1 specification interfaces and container-managed persistence integration.
`restfulWS-3.1`	Enables support for Jakarta RESTful Web Services 3.1.
`restfulWSClient-3.1`	Enables support for the Jakarta RESTful Web Services 3.1 Client API.
`servlet-6.0`	Enables support for HTTP servlets that are written to the Jakarta Servlet 6.0 specification.
transactions-2.0	Activated by default when you use the Jakarta EE 10 Web Profile.
websocket-2.1	Enables support for WebSocket applications that are written to the API for the Jakarta WebSocket 2.1 specification.

`messagingClient-3.0`	Provides applications with access to message queues that are hosted on WebSphere Application Server through the Jakarta Messaging 3.0 API.
`xmlBinding-4.0`	Provides mapping of Java classes to XML documents for applications that use the Jakarta XML Binding 4.0 specification.

`wmqMessagingClient-3.0`	Provides applications with access to message queues hosted on IBM MQ through the Jakarta Messaging 3.0 API.

`jndi-1.0`	Enables the use of Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) to access server-configured resources such as DataSources or JMS Connection Factories.

`federatedRegistry-1.0`	Enables support for federation of multiple user registries.
`ldapRegistry-3.0`	Enables support for using an LDAP server as a user registry. Any server that supports LDAP Version 3.0 can be used.
`openidConnectClient-1.0`	Enables web applications to integrate OpenID Connect Client 1.0 for authenticating users instead of, or in addition to, the configured user registry.
`samlWeb-2.0`	Enables web applications to use SAML web single sign-on version 2.0 function.
ssl-1.0	Enables support for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections. The ssl-1.0 feature must be enabled and a keystore must be configured for the secure HTTPS listener to start.
transportSecurity-1.0	Enables support for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections. The transportSecurity-1.0 feature must be enabled and a keystore must be configured for the secure HTTPS listener to start.

WebSphere eXtreme Scale
