manage get-cpd-instance-details

Get the URL for the IBM Software Hub web client and the credentials of the default administrator (admin).

Extended description

Important: It is strongly recommended that you change the default password for the admin user. After you change the password for the admin user, the credentials returned by this command will not work.

Syntax

cpd-cli manage get-cpd-instance-details \
--cpd_instance_ns=<project-name> \
[--get_admin_initial_credentials=true|false]

Arguments

The get-cpd-instance-details command has no arguments.

The project (namespace) where IBM Software Hub is installed.
--get_admin_initial_credentials Specify whether to retrieve the automatically generated password for the default administrator (admin).
Important: You need the password to log in to Cloud Pak for Data for the first time.

Optional.
Syntax
--get_admin_initial_credentials=true|false
Default value
false

If you omit this option, the default value is used.

Valid values
false
Do not retrieve the automatically generated password for the admin user.
true
Retrieve the automatically generated password for the admin user.
