Adding and Analyzing Provider Accounts

Navigate to the Settings Provider Accounts List screen by clicking the settings settings icon icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and then selecting Provider Accounts from the list on the left to add and edit your provider account information so that you can retrieve your asset, billing, and utilization information. Only the Cost and Asset Management admin and ITIO user roles can make changes to the provider account settings.

See the section "Adding Service Provider Accounts" to add provider accounts.

Note: After provider accounts are added, they cannot be removed.

Analyzing Accounts

To analyze and account:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Provider Accounts. The Settings Provider Accounts List screen displays.

  2. Click an account to select it. The Add Your Account Credentials screen displays.

  3. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the Analyze Accounts button. A pop-up message displays the message that Cost and Asset Management is validating your credentials.

  4. Click Proceed to continue, or click Cancel. The Accounts Analysis Progress screen displays. accounts analysis screen

    All accounts indicate the following:

    • Provider
    • Progress bar
    • Time analysis started
    • Analysis duration
    • Status
    • Errors
    • Post Processing
  5. From the Settings Provider Accounts List screen, click View Accounts Analysis Status near the top of the screen. The Analyze Accounts Job List displays the job status of the last 10 jobs run.

    Click the Check Analyze Progress link on the left side of the screen provides the Account Analysis Job List with the Job Status of the last 10 jobs run.
