Policies Dashboard
Before you begin working with this dashboard, be sure you have reviewed the section about Filtering in the topic "Navigating the User Interface."
A policy is a rule with defined thresholds against which data is measured. When the measurement algorithm identifies occurrences of data exceeding those bounds, an issue is created. The Policies dashboard flags when a defined efficiency threshold has not been met.
The Policies dashboard helps you to identify the following:
- Asset age
- Underutilized assets
- A utilization drop in assets
- Over-utilized assets
- Trends
- Opportunities
- Anomalies

The Policies dashboard consists of the following components:
- Issues Trend graph
- Issues by Policy summary
- Issues by Policy Category data and graph
- Issues list
Policy categories can be enabled and disabled. By default, all policy categories are enabled. For information about configuring policy settings, see the "Policy Settings" subsection.
