View Product Properties Page

You can use the view action to access the View Product page where you can view any non-SMPE managed products.

The View Product Page allows you to view the fields of a product. For a description of each field see Table 1.

Viewing a product

Fields	Description
Product name	Name for the product.
Product ID	Identifier for the product.
Release	Release level for the product.
Vendor	Name of the vendor that provides the product.
General availability date	Date that a version or release of the product is available to all users. To retrieve this information, complete the steps provided in help topic Retrieving product information from product information files.
End of service date	Last date on which the vendor will deliver standard support services for a given version or release of the product. This date is the general end of service date. It does not account for lifecycle extensions.
Additional product information	URL that links to additional information about the product. This information can include, for example, product life cycle dates, product highlights, planning information, and technical descriptions.
Features	List of names of features for the product.
SMP/E Managed	Indicates if a product is managed by SMPE or not.
Product information file version	Version of the most recent product information file that was retrieved that contains the corresponding product. The version represents the date that file was created or last updated. To retrieve this information, complete the steps provided in help topic Retrieving product information from product information files.
Software instances containing product	Name The name of the software instance that contains the product. System The system that the software instance that contains the product is on.
Action summary	Action The action that was used on a product. Date and Time The date and time that an action was used. User The user who initiated the action.
