NCP major node definitions
In the NCP major node, define both physical and logical resources:
- The token-ring interface coupler (TIC) connection for NTRI support is defined as a physical connection, which is generated as a nonswitched duplex line.
- The peripheral nodes that are attached to the token ring are defined as logical connections, which are generated as switched half-duplex lines.
The following sample physical and logical definitions are used
in an NCP subarea node to attach peripheral nodes to the token ring.
Note that TRNPG1 is the LAN NTRI physical group, and TRNLG1 is the
LAN NTRI logical group.
