Loading an NCP

You can load NCP into a communication controller from VTAM®.

1. Include information about loading NCP in your start procedure:

   //NCPLOAD      DD      DSN=SYS1.NCPLOAD,DISP=SHR
   ⋮

2. Use the VARY ACT command with LOAD=YES specified to load the communication controller.
   Note: You cannot load or activate an NCP over a type 2.1 link.
