Explanation
The job scheduler rejected your logon for one
of the following reasons:
- The most likely reason is that you specified a region
size for your logon that is not available on your system.
For
region requests smaller than 16 MB - either this amount of private
area storage is unavailable below 16 MB in virtual storage or an installation
exit rejected your request.
For region requests larger than
16 MB - either this amount of private and extended storage is unavailable
or an installation exit rejected your request.
- The virtual storage manager abended.
- The job scheduler was unable to create an address space
because it found inappropriate data in a control block.
- A program check occurred in the initiator.
- The operator restarted the processor during your logon
attempt.
- A machine check occurred during your logon attempt.

Contact your IBM® support personnel.
User response
- For reason 1: Try to log on again using a different region size.
Try a smaller region size, or use your installation-defined procedure
for specifying the region size you require. Alternatively try to
log on with a larger region size than originally requested.
- For other reasons: Try again. If the problem persists, contact
your system programmer.
