Removing HLASM Toolkit Feature

HLASM Toolkit Feature Installation and Customization Guide

You do not have to remove HLASM Toolkit Feature from your system before installing a new version or release.

If you do have to remove HLASM Toolkit Feature for any reason, you must delete all the HLASM Toolkit Feature entries from your sublibrary and remove HLASM Toolkit Feature from the system history file.

A sample job, ASMTDELV.Z, is supplied to help you do this. This job will:
  • delete all HLASM Toolkit Feature members from the sublibrary where it is installed
  • remove HLASM Toolkit Feature from System History File
  • update DTRIHIST.Z in the System Library to remove HLASM Toolkit Feature from the list of installed products
