Creating operator logs

You can create and maintain logs. Logs contain information such as the asset, the location, the supervisor at the plant, and details of associated operator rounds. You can use logs to relay important safety or other information to your team, as one shift ends and another shift takes over.

Procedure

  1. In the Operator Log application, click New Shift Log on the toolbar.
  2. On the Shift Log tab, specify the beginning and end dates and times, and the site for the shift log.
  3. Specify details for the shift log record.
  4. On the Log Entry subtab, specify the log entries for the asset and the location.
  5. On the Shift Team subtab, specify the persons who are assigned as members of the shift team.
  6. On the Operator Rounds tab, add new rows for each operator round that is associated with the shift log.
  7. On the Production Loss tab, specify the production loss that is associated with this shift log.
  8. Proceed with specifying details for the additional tabs.
  9. Save the record.
