Importing classifier scans from IBM Security Guardium

You can import classifier scans from IBM Security Guardium into IBM Data Risk Manager inventory and view them on the dashboard for risk analysis.

Before you begin

Ensure that IBM Data Risk Manager is integrated with IBM Security Guardium. For more information about integration, see Integrating IBM Security Guardium with IBM Data Risk Manager.

The transaction icon indicates that the most recent import operation was successful.

The transaction icon indicates that the most recent import operation was failed.

The transaction icon indicates that the most recent import operation is in progress.

1. Log on to IBM Data Risk Manager Application Suite (https://<IDRM-Server-IP-Address>:8443/albatross/a3suite).
2. Click the application menu icon .
3. Go to Business Context Modeler > Enterprise Integration Wizard > Integration > Scans.
4. Import scans.
   1. Click the Download icon .
   2. From the Adapter list, select IBM Guardium.
   3. Select Classifier.
   4. From the Select Program list, select a program to which the scans are to be associated.
   5. Select the date from which you need to pull the scans from IBM Security Guardium. By default, current date is selected.
   6. From the Instances list, select an adapter instance. You can select up to three instances.
   7. To import all the processes that are associated with the selected instances, click Import.
   8. To import only the processes that you need from the selected instances, run the following steps.
      1. Click Import with Process Selection.
      2. Under Process, select the processes that you need to import from each adapter instance.

         For each process, you can click Run Time Instances to view the run instances list. By default, latest run instance is selected. You can change the selection based on your requirements.

      3. Click Import.
5. On the Scans page, you can view the scans that you now imported.

   Click the information icon to view the number of data sources and tables that are associated with the selected scan.

6. To refresh scan inventory list, click the Refresh icon .
7. You can view details of the scan import status at Security Command and Control Center > Home.
