Liberty servlet with JDBC and JCICS access

This workload is a pure Java application based on the CICS®-supplied servlet examples.

The workload is a mix of JDBC, VSAM, TSQ, a “Hello World” servlet and fetching static content.

The application is deployed into a Liberty environment inside a CICS JVM server. The workload is driven by IBM® Workload Simulator for z/OS® simulating 500 HTTP clients, as described in Workload driving. Figure 1 shows an overview of the application topology.
