Troubleshooting EXCI

The external CICS® interface (EXCI) provides diagnostic information that you can use to help with problem determination.

CICS provides the following diagnostic information:
  • Trace
  • System dumps
  • 04xx abends for the external CICS interface
  • The EXCI service trap, DFHXCTRA
  • EXCI trace points
