AIX: Post requisite steps

After you have installed IBM® WebSphere® Portal, there are additional actions to take to complete the installation.

  1. AIX: Next steps
    The configuration process has changed. Use the Configuration Wizard to set up your integration with prerequisites, clusters, and more.
  2. AIX: Upgrading the SDK
    IBM WebSphere Portal version 9.0 supports Java 7.0 on IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5 levels or Java 8.0 on WebSphere Application Server 9.0 levels. If you migrate from WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5 levels to WebSphere Application Server 9.0 levels, you must upgrade to Java 8.0.
