Diagnosing replication errors

The replication console alerts you when errors occur and you can use the alerts to help diagnose problems.

  • On the Data Replication screen, the Alerts column shows any error messages that are issued for each replication set.
  • On the monitoring screen for each replication set, the Alerts column in the tables area shows table-level error messages.
  • Also on the monitoring screen, the Tables Status section of the Replication Set Availability area shows the total number of alerts for the set.

Error messages are prefixed with the "ASN" identifier followed by a number. You can find documentation for each ASN error message in IBM Knowledge Center.
