Viewing server information

You can view general information about a registered server.

About this task

You must have a user profile with the View WebSphere inventory permission or the Manage WebSphere inventory permission. For more information, see Configuring roles and permissions.

Procedure

  1. You can see information about an individual server by clicking the server name in the Server column of the Security page or the Server management page, then clicking the Information tab in the server details page.

The server information page opens. An example appears in the following image. The example Server information page shows the hostname, WebSphere version, installation directory, Java SDK version, topology, server type, and a list of fixes installed on the server. The Last contact entry shows the date and time of the most recent communication between the registered asset and WebSphere Automation. The date and time shown are according to WebSphere Automation, not the date and time at the registered asset.
