Appeasing a customer

You can appease a customer who is unhappy with a product or order, by offering suitable appeasement options.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Sterling Store Engagement. The Home page opens.
  2. Search for the order by performing the following steps:
    1. Click the Search button on the menu bar. The search bar opens.
    2. Scan the order receipt or enter the order number in the search field. If the search results in a single order, the Order Summary screen is displayed. If the search results in multiple orders, you can select the required order or click Advanced Search to further refine your search results by performing a search using other available criteria.
  3. From the More menu, click Appease Customer. The Customer Appeasement screen opens.
  4. Under Provide appeasement for, select Order or Product.
  5. Under Select reason, select the reason why the customer is unhappy.
  6. Under Order appeasement options, select a suitable appeasement option.
  7. In the Add Note box, enter an appropriate note and select Mark important, if required and then click Add. The notes is added to the order.
  8. Click Done. The appeasement is applied to the customer's order.
