Viewing product details from customer profile

You can view the details of a product that the customer is interested to purchase, availability of the product and the associated popular products.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Sterling Store Engagement and switch to the Customer Service View by using the eye icon.
  2. In the More Tasks portlet, click Look up Customer. The Look up Customer portlet opens.
  3. Identify the customer and navigate to the Customer Profile screen.
  4. On the Customer Profile screen, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In the Recommendations tab, click either the product description or the product image. The Product Details window opens.
    • In the Recently Viewed tab, click a recently viewed product or browse the keyword list and click the appropriate keyword. The Find Products screen opens displaying the name of the customer and the number of products that correspond to the selected keyword. You can also see the count of products currently in the customer's cart, which you can open and proceed with the order.
    • The Wish List tab displays the products retrieved from an external wish list created by the customer. Click either the product description or the product image. The Product Details window opens.
    • The Open Carts tab displays the products retrieved from the customer's online carts. Click either the product description or the product image. The Product Details window opens.

    On the Product Details window, primary details of the product and icons for each supported fulfillment method along with the available quantity are displayed. Additionally, the popular products that are associated with the current product are also displayed.

    On the Product Details window, the customer's email address would be auto-populated. You can click the email button to share the product information with the customer. A confirmation message is displayed.

    A store icon is displayed on the product images in all the tabs of the Customer Profile screen such as Recommendations, Recently Viewed and Wish List to indicate that a product is available in the current store.
