Reclassify inventory

Store associates can reclassify inventory to ensure data accuracy and streamline inventory management.

Inventory reclassification entails updating inventory attributes, such as inventory status or product class, to maintain accurate records. Reclassifying inventory can be either automated based on events or initiated manually by store managers. For example, if inventory is moved to a quarantine location, the store associate can update the inventory status. Similarly, the store associate can update the product class of the inventory.

Inventory reclassification is an asynchronous process, and the time that is taken for data to reflect is around three seconds.
