Adding products to cart
As a store associate, you can add products to cart and place an order on behalf of the customer.
About this task
You can add products to the cart by any one of the following methods:
- Check out a product directly by scanning it or entering the product code. By default, the
product gets added to the cart as a Carry order if
Allow Cash And Carry Linesis selected while creating an order entry type. For more information about order entry types, see Creating an order entry type.You can change the delivery method in the View cart page.
In case of serial-tracked products, you can add multiple units of the product to the cart by scanning a single serial number. check isCashAndCarryAllowed
- Search for a product and confirm the availability of a product. If the product is available for the delivery method that the customer prefers, you can place an order for the product on behalf of the customer.
