Installing Sterling Store Engagement using command line

You can install Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) along with Sterling Order Management System Software to an existing runtime by using the command line.

Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) is included in the smcfs fix pack installer. You cannot use the IBM Installation Manager to apply fix packs for the Sterling Store Engagement next-generation application. Therefore, install fix packs by using the ./SMCFS_CORE_<CD_version>.jar.

To install Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) along with Sterling Order Management System Software to an existing runtime, run the following command:./<runtime>/jdk/bin/java -jar SMCFS_CORE_<CD_version>.jar -apps ISF -fpmode

By default, Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) is not installed. If a previous version of the application resides in runtime, the current version is implicitly installed, which is automatically determined from the occurrence in the <runtime>/repository/xapi/yantra_modules.xml file.

If you want to install the Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) application or the latest fix pack, pass the -apps ISF argument to the Java -jar command.
If you do not want to install the Sterling Store Engagement (next-generation) application or the latest fix pack, pass the -appsexcl ISF argument to the Java -jar command.
