Appointments

In-store services are made available to customers by scheduling appointments to suit the date, time, and store of their choice. For example, Bridal Fitting, Hair Styling, Tailoring and Customization, and so on.

The application enables a store associate to view all the upcoming appointments in the current store for the current day and allows to differentiate between open, completed and overdue appointments and take appropriate actions. A customer who wishes to avail any of the services provided in a store can approach the store associates for appointments as required and be present at the store on the appropriate date and time so that the store associates can execute the requested services. A store associate can read about a service and also enter instructions that need to be referred while executing the service. Once the store associate creates appointments, they can be shared for customer's reference either through email or by providing a printed copy of the appointment summary. For each service, a separate appointment is created and multiple such appointments can be created at a time. If the service requested by the customer is not available at a store or on a given date or time, the store associate can update the appointment by choosing an alternate store, date or time slot as per customer's convenience. Further, a store associate can modify and cancel appointments in accordance with the customer's requests. For example, if a customer changes mind and does not wish to avail certain services for which appointments are already recorded in the system, the store associate can easily cancel such appointments. Similarly, if a customer chooses to avail a service on a different date, time, or store than requested earlier, the store associate can reschedule or update the appointment accordingly. Lastly, a store associate can also save important information for the appointments in the form of notes.
