This issue is resolved.

592917 Internal The bundle property files are cached due to which the updates are not reflecting.

Solution: To manage cache burst for the UI, the ycd.ui.wsc.dojo.cacheburst=N property is added, and by default disabled.

If you set the value to Y, the timestamp in milliseconds gets appended to the URL that forces the browser to load the bundle file from the server instead of cache. From the performance point of view, it is recommended that you set a string value so that the file can be served from cache as long as the file is not modified. However, every time you upgrade, you need to change the string value. For example, ycd.ui.wsc.dojo.cacheburst=v1.0.

Note: Ensure that you apply the latest fix pack 40. Also, when an asset is changed and deployed, ensure that you change the string value for cache burst takes place.

593268 Internal The Struts-tags.tld file is not used anymore and is deleted.

10.0.0.15

Defect ID Case number Description
592710 TS007536857 A new property, ycd.ui.wsc.angularJs.cacheburst is added. By default, the value is set to N, which means cache burst is disabled. If you set value to Y, it bursts cache by considering timestamp in milliseconds.

It is recommended that you set a string value for this property. For example, ycd.ui.wsc.angularJs.cacheburst=v1.0.

For more information about the property configuration, see Manage user interface cache busting.

10.0.0.4

Defect ID Case number Description
588146 Internal When a mashup call is initiated from UI, DB lock is acquired on the required records and worked upon. Once the actual API associated with the mashup is complete, the lock is released and the control flows back to the (massageOutput method of the) custom class associated with the mashup.

While this happens, if another JVM acquires the lock on the record and modifies it, the lockId will get updated. However, at the mashup later, the thread would be still alive so will the context associated to the mashup call and thereby the transaction cache.

If a subsequent call to change the entity is made from the massageOutput method of the mashup which uses the same context (which still has the record in transaction cache) and tries to execute the API call, the stale record from transaction cache gets picked up while the record is already updated in DB by another JVM.

When API tries to commit the modifications to this stale record, the following error is seen:

Update failed. The record to be updated could either not be found or it was already deleted or updated by another transaction

Solution: A new releaseTransaction method is added in mashup helper. This is invoked from ValidateGetTrackingNoAndPrintLabel before making the changeShipment call so that fresh record from database is fetched for updation.
