Restoring Sterling Order Management System configurations

You can restore the Sterling™ Order Management System databases, configurations, and customizations from the Processes tab of Self Service.

About this task

When you restore a backup, the existing configurations and databases are overwritten and the customizations remain the same as at the time of backup. Moreover, you can restore an earlier version only if the later version is the same version or an updated fix pack. You cannot restore an earlier backup to an environment that has an updated major version.

Procedure

To restore the backed-up Sterling Order Management System application, complete the following steps:

  1. Access Self Service with your IBMid.
  2. From the Self Service menu, click Environments.
  3. From the list of environments, select an environment.
  4. On the Processes tab, click Start process.
  5. From the Process list, select Backup & Restore OMoC.
  6. From the Choose the operation drop-down list, select Restore.
  7. Click Submit.
