Managing queues

Users with the Developer role can create and manage queues under the Queue configuration tab. You can click the queue name to view the queue summary.

Configuring queues
Users with the Developer role can create queues and view the existing queues.
Enabling remote queues
An Organization Administrator can enable the option to support remote queues for specific environments.
Creating remote queues
A user with the Developer role can create remote queues for their environment if the remote queues are enabled for the environment. You can use the remote queues to communicate with the queue managers that are outside the Sterling™ Order Management System application.
Updating queues
Users with the Developer role can update the existing queues.
Deleting queues
Users with the Developer role can delete the queues.
Processing queues
Users with the Developer role, you can run processes for the queues.
Synchronizing queues (legacy)
If you are migrating from the UCD tool to Self Service, users with the Developer role can synchronize the queues that you created by using the UCD tool and Self Service.
Importing queues
Users with the Developer role can import queues from a source environment to the current environment.
Exporting queues
Users with the Developer role can export queues from a your current environment to a target environment.
