Search for a service option

You can search for a service option from the Service Search screen.

1. Navigate to the Service Option Search screen. To navigate to the Service Option Search screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
   3. From the Products home page, click Find Service Option from the Catalog dashlet
      The Service Option Search screen is displayed.
2. To use the Basic Search option, perform the following steps:
   1. In the Option ID Contains text box, enter the complete or partial identifier of the search option you want to search for.
   2. In the Option Short Description Contains box, enter the complete or partial description of the service option you want to search for.
   3. From the Option Type drop-down list, select an service option type. For example, Provided.
   4. Click Search.
3. To use the Advanced Search option, perform the following steps:
   1. In the Service Option Search screen, click Advanced Search.
   2. The Advanced Service Option Search panel is displayed. From the Select Criteria drop-down list, select the criteria that you want to include in the search. For example, to search for a service option by option identifier, select Option ID from the Select Criteria drop-down list.
   3. From the Operator drop-down list, select the operator that you want to use for the search criteria.
   4. In the corresponding field, enter or select the appropriate value.
      Note: It is mandatory that you select or enter at least one search criteria and a corresponding value. If you select or enter more than one search criteria, the search will return the service options that match all the criteria.
